Welcome to the site of dj/producer Erik Schouten

Erik grew up in a musical environment in Holland, playing instruments, like a harmonica and keyboard when he was 4 years old.
At the age of 15 he had friends who liked the typical housemusic-style from Holland : Hardcore. This was not his favorite kind of music but they had turntables and a mixer and in the beginning, just for the fun of it, he started to play as well and after being completely infected with the electronic virus he bought his own equipment ( Pioneer cd-mixers ) and records of music-styles that he loved wich are Progressive, Trance and Techno and voila:  a new young dj was born.

Erik played at some of the most popular hot spots in Europe and South America and was resident Dj on a party island called ilha dos Aquarios in Porto Seguro, Brazil, where he now lives.
He has a great talent for making people hit the dance floor. This DJ plays the best music, greatly influenced by: Sasha, John Digweed, Anthony Papa, James Holden and many more.
He provides the ideal mystical energetic atmosphere when it comes to mixing and blending music-styles such as Progressive, Minimal, Tech-House and Techno and he likes to taunt and tease the audience a little before unleashing a track that fills you with emotion leaving good memories and makes the event classy.

During the years he has been infected with another electronic musical virus: Music Production !!

After years of training the ears, studying and trying out different gear ( synthesizers, drumcomputers, midi-controllers, effect-processors and so on ) he updated his setup to the highest standards and started to make music records himself.
